Kurkuri Bhindi

An Indian starter that is the most easiest to make is the Kurkuri Bhindi (crispy ladies finger). So here I bring you something that can be prepared in few minutes effortlessly.


  • Bhindi (Ladiesfinger)
  • Turmeric powder
  • Gram Flour (Besan)
  • Red Chilli powder
  • Mango Powder
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep frying


Cut the bhindis into thin slices after removing the seeds from inside. Mix all the ingredients (turmeric powder, gram flour, red chilli powder, mango powder, salt)  nicely with the bhindis so that each slice is coated well. If it looks too dry then you can add a teaspoon of water.

Deep fry the bhindis in batches. Don’t put all the bhindis together in the oil.

Take it out in a kitchen towel to soak the excess oil and your kurkuri bhindi is ready to be served.
